Our congratulations to all the films and talent nominated for BAFTA film awards today.
Lincoln, Steven Spielberg’s latest, leads the pack with 10 nominations, followed closely by three titles from our Spring programme (Les Misérables, 9 nominations; Skyfall, 8 nominations; Argo, 7 nominations).
Add to the fact that two films from our previous programme (Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Moonrise Kingdom) scored one nomination apiece (for Outstanding British Film and Best Original Screenplay, respectively) and it just goes to show: we certainly know how to pick ’em!
