Thanks to everyone who manned the barricades in support of last night’s rousing performance of Les Misérables. It went like a dream: a packed house, tissues at the ready, and halftime ice cream, tea & coffee; our hopes were high for a life worth living film worth seeing, and boy did it deliver!

Some of the audience felt Russell Crowe had been unfairly criticised for his performance; in fact, many agreed the bit where he takes a plunge was a definite highlight.

We also squeezed in a French themed promo reel (see slideshow below) and a short film, courtesy of Ian Fell, about conservation work currently underway in St Cadoc’s. Fantastique!
