Three items of interest to report this month:
1. We’ve recently submitted a grant application to Creative Rural Communities, to purchase our own screen and high definition projector (we currently borrow equipment from BFFS and Creative Rural Communities). We expect a decision by the end of November.
(Incidentally, we’re currently the featured exhibitor on the BFFS web site, and you can read excerpts from our award-winning application here).
2. The Fox and Hounds is hosting a Halloween event on Thursday 31 October. Starting at 6pm, the pub is offering curry and rice (£7 for adults) and bangers and mash (£4 for children), with prizes for best Halloween costumes. Please call to let Sue and John know if you plan at attend (01446 781 287).
3. St Cadoc’s church is holding a celebration on 5 December with an update on the wall painting conservation work and to showcase the newly restored Reredos. Refreshments provided, keep an eye out for further details on telegraph poles- everyone welcome!
