Thanks to everyone who joined us for yesterday’s performance of Philomena. It was a popular event starring two much loved actors, and a wonderful example of intelligent, and affecting, British filmmaking.
We also got to enjoy a short film about talented local author and illustrator Emma Levey, which you can catch here on the BBC web site. Our thanks to Ben and Ian Fell for making the screening possible.
And finally, this event provided the first opportunity to test the Village Hall’s newly installed hearing aid induction loop. All future screenings will use the system, kindly supplied by the Vale of Glamorgan Council, making our performances fully accessible to users of suitable hearing aids (those with a ‘T’ telecoil setting).
