 “…supremely enjoyable…”
Daily Telegraph

“If there is one film you should see on the biggest screen possible this year, it is Mr Turner.”
The Times

Covering the last 25 years or so of Turner’s life, a period when the artist was celebrated and reviled in almost equal measure, Mike Leigh’s critically acclaimed film brings one of this country’s greatest eccentric talents to the big screen.

Timothy Spall triumphs as Turner, even learning to paint in preparation for the role. Period detail is brought to vivid life, including a working replica of Robert Stephenson’s 1830 Planet locomotive train, and the film looks stunning courtesy of Dick Pope’s cinematography. It is sure to be a very memorable evening.
