James Bond paid a flying visit to Llancarfan last Friday courtesy of our Skyfall screening. It was a memorable occasion not least because we used a high definition (HD) projector and 5.1 audio for the first time, producing ravishing visuals and immersive, wraparound sound. So good was the effect that we plan to use HD from now on.
The evening began with a Bond-themed drinks reception (Prosecco “Casino” Royale, anyone?), and we treated the audience (our third full house of the season) to a 007 inspired promotional film (see slideshow) followed by the world premiere of Ian Fell’s tongue-in-cheek short The Man With the Liquid Ladder.
